Questions We Get a Lot
Gas fire pits connect to a propane tank or natural gas line and ignite with a simple control, offering clean, consistent flame without ash or smoke management. Wood-burning fire pits deliver a more traditional crackling experience and tend to produce more ambient heat, though they require more hands-on tending. The right choice depends on how much convenience matters to you versus the classic campfire feel.
Most fire pits and fire tables are built with weather-resistant materials designed for outdoor exposure, but prolonged contact with moisture, freezing temperatures, or direct sun can affect finish and components over time. Using a properly fitted cover when the piece is not in use is the best way to extend its life regardless of climate. We recommend reviewing the care notes included with your specific piece after it arrives.
Connecting a gas fire pit to a natural gas line typically requires a licensed gas technician in most municipalities — this is a local code requirement, not something that comes with the product. Propane-powered models are more straightforward: you connect a standard propane tank yourself following the instructions included. Always check your local regulations before choosing a fuel type.

About Our Fire Pits
A fire pit or fire table does something no other outdoor furnishing quite manages — it extends the usable hours of any patio or backyard well into cooler evenings and draws people together naturally around a shared focal point. These pieces range from compact freestanding designs suited to smaller decks to substantial linear tables that anchor a full outdoor living area, and they are available in gas and solid-fuel configurations to match how you actually want to use your space. When choosing one, consider the fuel source first: gas models offer push-button convenience and consistent flame height, while solid-fuel options provide a more immersive, sensory experience. Material and finish matter too — cast stone, concrete, and powder-coated steel each carry their own aesthetic and respond differently to weather over time. Think about scale relative to your seating arrangement, and whether you want the fire element to double as a functional surface. The right fire pit turns an ordinary evening outdoors into something genuinely worth looking forward to.
